If you’re looking for a taste of the exotic, then a visit to Dubai’s Gold and Spice Souks is a must. These two traditional markets are located in the heart of the city and offer a glimpse into the city’s rich cultural heritage.

The Gold Souk is home to over 300 gold shops and is a great place to pick up some souvenirs or gifts. The market is open daily from 10am to 10pm and you’ll find a wide range of gold on offer, from 22-karat to 24-karat.

The Spice Souk is located just next to the Gold Souk and is the perfect place to pick up some of the spices and herbs used in Middle Eastern cuisine. The market is open from Saturday to Thursday from 9am to 9pm. Make sure you bargain for the best price!

Both markets are easily accessible by metro – just get off at the Al Ghubaiba station.
